KITCHEN

Iron Bloom boasts a full, high-spec commercial kitchen that is suited to produce any type of cuisine including a Josper oven, two Blue Seal ovens complete with a solid top and a grill, a Rational steam bomb oven, heat lamps, under counter fridges and a full-spec pot wash area.

BRUNCHES / SUPPER CLUBS

Available during the day and evenings, host unique supper-clubs, brunches and dinner events in an intimate setting! They're a fantastic and informal way to acquaint yourself with a new cuisine, make some new friends and get your fill. Get in touch with our events team who will help organise your experience and design a bespoke menu for your event.

OTHER EVENTS

An ideal space to create tailor-made events, experiences, concepts and develop products and ideas to be fully realised - Often in collaboration with pioneers in the Food & Drink industry as a recipe development kitchen and industrial photography studio or through supper clubs, pop-up's, team building events and cocktail / cookery / workshop classes.

WHAT WE'RE DRINKING

Our big brother Looking Glass Cocktail Club supplies all of our mixters and mixtresses who create a simple menu of cocktails paired to our dishes. Have an ogle through the options, make your choice* and we’ll do the rest – *If you can’t decide or you’re feeling adventurous, ask our bartender to invent something special on the spot, just for you.


COCKTAIL bar

Iron Bloom is fitted with a 6 meter long cocktail bar which can serve the whole venue at great speed! It’s also equipped with all fridges and stations necessary for a full service. Post mix, draught beer and undercounter glass washer also available

THE ENGLISH VINE

The English Vine is a concerned group of individuals who have had enough of English wine trying to be something it is not. Their pop-up at Iron Bloom celebrates the quality and diversity of winemaking in the UK, and are here to break down the establishment, reinvent tradition, destroy misconceptions and break preconceptions. They intend to give the wine industry new life to allow it to be reborn into a drink for a new generation of wine drinker.

 
 

THERMAPEN : DINNER CLUB WITH BILLY & JACK (Masterchef)

3rd sept 2019

To celebrate the launch of #JuicyBird – the campaign against dry turkey – by hosting a dinner club in collaboration with 2016 MasterChef finalists Billy & Jack. The evening saw the pair cook a seasonal-inspired menu with a twist, seeing the perfect #JuicyBird meet bubble and squeak in a fun and creative start to the turkey season.It was a wonderful evening where we enjoyed the company of some very talented food writers, bloggers and recipe developers, whilst being inspired by the exciting culinary season ahead of us!

 
 

Table&candle : ‘Summer in sardinia’ w/ CHEF federico oliva

Born and raised on a farm in Sardinia, chef Federico Oliva spent his childhood rooted in Sardinia's food scene, tending to the family livestock, lavishing his days fishing for urchin on the Med, foraging for mushrooms and herbs and, of course, making pasta, lots of pasta. His roots instilled an unrivalled love of Sardinian fare and a deep respect for nature and the ocean; a respect which underpins the faithfulness to sustainability, seasonality and locality within his menus. After working as Sous and Head Chef in some of the finest Italian restaurants in the world, from Milan to Paris and finally London, training under iconic Michelin-starred chefs including Massimo Tringali and Theo Randall, Oliva is finally breaking free to cook up a menu closer to his heart, with table&candle.

table&candle Is aiming to rebuild the restaurant industry from the ground up and transform the way London eats out by bringing a new breed of restaurant to London's high streets - one which favours craft, creativity and quality by featuring an ever changing menu of concepts and chefs from far and wide. They repurpose independent high street spaces whilst partnering with craft producers, makers and artists to open unique restaurants in different neighbourhoods, then invite the most pioneering chefs to design and cook exclusive menus, for a limited time only.

The green vic

15th JUL - 17th SEPT 2019

Run by The Better World Group, every element of this East London pub helps a good cause. The drinks businesses alone support over 40 individual non-profit charities between them. Example collaborations include Brewgooder, who work on bringing clean water to Malawi, and GoodWill Gin, who run a 100% renewable distillery and turn any leftover waste into cow food. The Green Grill head up the menu here, serving purely plant-powered burgers, and proceeds from their ‘Better World Brunches’ will go straight to charity. Tickets cost just £5. The look of the space itself is as ‘conscious’ as the concept; everything is as eco-friendly as possible and all materials have been chosen for their sustainability. Even the furniture is upcycled, thanks to the expertise of TV presenter Max McMurdo who consulted on the design.

The do good ethos truly serves as the beating heart of the project, even when it comes to recruitment. Unity Kitchen and Change Please have ensured that one in four staff members are from vulnerable or disadvantaged backgrounds, such as those suffering from homelessness or disabilities.
